They recruit for digital jobs both in the UK and internationally aiming to find the best candidates for their jobs, which can be anything from permanent, to interim, temporary and freelance. Not one for tradition, the Digital Recruitment Company likes to do things a little differently by offering video interviews.
Engaging job applications
The Digital Recruitment Company needed a website design that could represent their brand and business at its best. After having built up a reputation around its unique values for many years, it was important to establish its image online and to engage more with its website visitors.
We made the new website’s browsing navigation simpler in order to give the visitor a straightforward user journey. The main focus was to encourage website visitors to engage more with the web design and thus increase the number of job applications being sent.
A visually unique recruitment
Digital Recruitment Company already had a strong brand identity thanks to its values and commitments to renewable energies; however there was potential to improve their visual brand identity through the website.
In response, we designed new custom illustrations. These visually appealing elements were created to attract and engage website visitors. We also created a custom colour scheme to suit the ‘green’ values of the company and used font replacement technology to give the web design a unique and characterful look.
Improving visibility through SEO and social media
Digital Recruitment Company also asked for their new website to be integrated with social media. It was important for the Company to have a profile on multiple social media outlets.
The solution we used was to feature social media icons in the header, the footer and on the sidebar to catch the user’s attention while browsing on the website. We integrated the Twitter feed to the sidebar, showing the company’s latest tweets. In addition, we created a function which allows users to apply for jobs using their LinkedIn profiles directly through the Company website. The website’s visibility was further enhanced with an industry related blog and advanced SEO functionality.
